Terms

Terms of use and service terms.

Last updated 6 September 2026. Questions: abid@keporia.ca.

Two sets of terms live on this page. Part A covers using this website. Part B is a plain-language summary of the written Services Agreement every Keporia client signs before a card goes live. If anything in Part B differs from a signed agreement, the signed agreement governs.

Part A — Using this website

Who we are

keporia.ca is operated by Keporia, a sole proprietorship of Md Abid Hasan, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Contact: abid@keporia.ca, 709-660-9874.

What the site is for

The site describes our loyalty-card service and lets you ask for a card. Nothing on it is an offer that becomes a contract by itself; a contract exists only when we both sign the Services Agreement in Part B.

Estimates and calculators

The pricing calculator and any figures about visits, retention or revenue are planning tools. The prices are real and current; the outcomes are illustrations based on assumptions you can change. We do not guarantee any business result.

Accuracy

We keep the site truthful — every claim on it is checked against the live service before it is published, and we say plainly what we do not promise (for example, that a card surfaces on an Android lock screen). Even so, we may correct errors at any time without notice, and we are not liable for a decision you make on the strength of a page that turns out to be out of date. Tell us and we will fix it.

Your use

You may read, link to and quote this site. You may not copy it wholesale, scrape it, probe it for weaknesses, send anything through the contact form that is unlawful or abusive, or use it in a way that interferes with anyone else's use of it.

Intellectual property and trademarks

The text, design, card mock-ups and images on this site belong to Keporia unless stated otherwise. The sample cards shown are for fictional businesses. Apple Wallet and Apple are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Google Wallet and Google are trademarks of Google LLC. Keporia is an independent company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by either. Client and third-party names and logos belong to their owners.

Links to other sites

Where we link to Apple, Google or anyone else, their site is theirs; we are not responsible for what is on it.

No warranty, limited liability

This website is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or from your reliance on its contents. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of Newfoundland and Labrador or of Canada.

Privacy

How we treat what you send us is in the privacy policy. Cookies (there are none here) are covered on the cookies page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute goes to the courts of that province.

Part B — The service, in plain language

Every client signs a written Digital Loyalty Program Services Agreement. This is what it says, in ordinary words. The agreement itself is the binding document; ask and you will have a copy before you commit to anything.

What you get and what it costs

  • Standard Setup — $99, once. Custom pass design for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, your address on the pass, print-ready QR codes, the reward designed with you, staff training, your stamp mark, the counter page set up and tested.
  • Base Management — $149 a month. Hosting and upkeep, one campaign a month written with you and pushed through the card, the owner dashboard and monthly report, referral codes, automatic design updates to cards already in wallets, a wallet business card for the owner and one manager, unlimited cards, one location.
  • Each extra location — $49 a month. Its own address on the pass, its own numbers, its own staff training and sign-up code.
  • Prices are in Canadian dollars; HST is added where it applies. There are no per-customer, per-scan or percentage charges. Fees can change on sixty days' written notice, and you may leave without penalty if you do not accept a change.

Term and leaving

  • The first term is three months. After that it runs month to month.
  • After the first three months either side can end it on thirty days' written notice, effective at the end of the paid month.
  • Either side can end it at once if the other seriously breaks the agreement and does not fix it within fifteen days of being told.
  • Details of what is and is not refundable are on the refunds and cancellation page.

When you leave

Within ten business days, at no charge, you receive your customer list as a CSV file and the final pass artwork. We stop issuing new cards. Cards already in your customers' wallets stop updating when hosting ends; we tell you the date so you can tell them.

Your customers' information

  • It is yours. We claim no ownership of it and never use it for anyone else.
  • We collect a first name only. We keep it in Canada, protect it, and share it with nobody but the hosting provider, Apple and Google, who need it to deliver the card.
  • You are the organisation responsible for it under privacy law; we act on your instructions. We put consent wording on the sign-up page; you make sure your customers' consent is valid.
  • If anything is ever accessed without authorisation, we tell you within 72 hours.
  • You can have an export of your list any time, free, within ten business days — and any single customer erased on request.

Your side

You provide your logo, colours, addresses, hours and the reward you want to offer, and you have the right to use the brand assets you give us (if you are a franchisee, that includes any permission the brand owner requires). You honour the rewards your card promises and bear their cost. Your staff stamp cards at the counter — results depend on that, and it is in your hands, not ours.

Ownership

Your brand stays yours. Once the setup fee is paid, the finished pass artwork made for you is yours too. The platform, templates and tools behind it stay ours. We may show your business name and logo in our own portfolio unless you tell us not to.

No guarantee of results, and our liability

We do the work with reasonable skill and care. We do not guarantee any increase in visits, revenue or enrolment. Neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss or lost profits. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the six months before the event, except for fraud, wilful misconduct or anything the law will not let us limit. We are not liable for changes to, or outages of, Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or the hosting provider, or for what your staff do.

Free cards and pilots

When we give a business or a person a card for nothing — a pilot, a founding-client arrangement, a wallet business card as a gift — the same data rules apply, no fees are owed, and we may withdraw the free arrangement on reasonable notice. What is free is written into the agreement so there are no surprises later.

Law

The agreement is governed by the laws of Newfoundland and Labrador and of Canada.

These pages are written in good faith by a small company to be clear and fair. They are not legal advice to you. If you are signing as a client, read the agreement itself and, if you wish, have your own adviser read it.
